Living Editorial Concept

Living Editorial Concept (LEC) is a new approach to the story-telling art. Instead of presenting a storyline in a linear and chronological way, it expands the format of how stories are told. It creates branches of parallel stories and background information, each one of them centered on a specific character, theme or time that ultimately will give form to something much bigger than a simple trilogy series. The final result is a revolving and dynamic editorial line, formed by inter-related sets of books, where each one of the books and branches complements each other.

In a saga like Angus that revives 12 centuries of adventures of the MacLachlan Clan, such LEC seems to perfectly be brought to life:

The Angus saga, almost as a “live organism” under this Living Editorial Concept, revolutionizes the vehicle and structure by which its stories will reach its public. Instead of telling everything there is about the saga within the limits of the 3 volumes of the main series (backbone series), Mr. Stuart believes it’s much more fascinating, interacting and constructive to his readers to let them create their own Angus world, according to their own interests that ultimately will be defined by the books or sets of books they are interested in. In other words, the core of the saga is told in the backbone series, however detailed characteristics of one specific character, time, region or theme is revealed in one of the spun-off branches: Angus Historical Collection, Angus RPG Collection, Angus Gift Book Collection or Angus Universe Collection.
